Good evening gals! It’s good to be back! My work life has been absolutely insane with school amping up, but I’m finally back!
Houndstooth obviously makes me think of my Alma Mater, the University of Alabama. We wear the houndstooth print as an ode to the infamous Coach Bear Bryant. He wore a houndstooth hat on the sidelines for decades, and this trend has outstood the test of time.
Even if you are not an Alabama fan, houndstooth has a timeless appearance that will never go out of style. Most often, we see it in black and white, but today’s fashion designers sell it a variety of different colors. Today I am wearing a navy houndstooth combo by Chicwish. This is a combo that I could wear to work, then out on the town. The matching jacket is unfortunately sold out, but I will be sure to let you know when it’s fully restocked. This material is very comfortable and moves well. It is also very warm if you have a cold office.
Houndstooth can be styled for every occasion. Stepping out in this print doesn’t make you an Alabama fan, it makes you a fashionista.
